During the school year, lessons balance enjoyable repertoire with focused technique and musicianship. The Summer Programme shifts the emphasis toward fun, giving students the chance to choose music from a favourite television show, film, game or current song.
Students keep their normal learning rhythm, have something enjoyable to practise at home and return to the new term without feeling as though they are starting again. Families may also choose the Summer Programme to maintain momentum, consolidate skills and continue making progress before the new school term.
